When you are all packed and ready to go we will draw up a complete inventory of your goods so you can be sure that everything that leaves you in the UK arrives at your Spanish destination. We will pick up your removal items from your UK home or storage facility (or both if required). Your goods will then be transported to our removals hub to join a much bigger consignment, all destined for Spain. This way we can minimize our transportation costs - a saving that can be passed on direct to our customers so that you can pay less!
With Spanish Moves, you only pay for the space your items need on the vehicle.
This multi-consignment will then be transported across the channel, down through France and into our Spanish removals hub on the Costa Del Sol. Your part of the consignment is then transported to a more appropriate vehicle, so that we can deliver safely to your property however difficult access may be.

Moving furniture and household goods to the UK from Spain is, without doubt, one of our specialities, and a service we have been carrying out regularly since we expanded our Removals business to the Costa del Sol in 2005. Consignments can be collected from anywhere in Andalucia, stored in our fully containerised warehouse if necessary and then loaded onto the next truck destined for the UK. Part loads we can accommodate (min charge of 3 cubic metres) and full loads are catered for. On the day of collection, our Manager, will make a full and detailed inventory of the goods and every item will be labelled accordingly so that you can check off everything at destination. The inventory is essential to an international move and should never be overlooked. It serves as a receipt of the goods we collect and is essential in case of any possible disputes or insurance claims.
Our Manager will specify in the quotation the estimated volume of the consignment, and the type of packing needed. Collection and delivery addresses are confirmed, access conditions at origin and at destination, the type of service required (ie. door to to door, door to depot), the planned moving dates, specialised packing requirements, storage needs (Spain or UK) and, of course, the insurance formalities.
Spanish Moves consider a move to be local when both the collection and delivery points are located within the province of Malaga or adjoining areas ie. Mijas, Marbella, Fuengirola, Nerja, San Pedro, Alhaurin, Estepona, and regional when one or both of the addresses are situated outside the province of Malaga but within the region of Andalucia. In respect of price, we offer our customers an ALL IN price, without any hidden extras! All packing materials needed for the move would be included in the quotation. However, you can choose to be quoted on an hourly rate (only local removals), with packing materials charged for separately. Some of our customers prefer to pack all or some of their goods before the moving day and we can supply packing cartons and wrapping, tape etc., prior to the move. The more packing done by the customer will obviously be reflected in the estimate.
On local and regional moves, furniture is generally blanket wrapped in the van and boxes packed by the removals staff will be clearly marked, indicating contents and the room. Our staff will always be equipped with tools in order to disassemble furniture items such as beds, wardrobes, wall units etc.
